بی ٹی ایل ٹی وی کی ایک رپورٹ میں اٹلی میں ہونے والے ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس کا جائزہ پیش کیا گیا ہے، جس کا مرکزی موضوع مذہبی آزادی کا تحفظ اور اسے عالمی پالیسی کی ترجیح بنانا تھا۔ اس رسمی اجتماع میں مختلف نمائندوں نے مذہبی آزادی سے متعلق نظامی مسائل کو فوری طور پر حل کرنے کی ضرورت پر بات کی۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق اجلاس میں حکام نے دنیا بھر میں مذہبی آزادی کی خلاف ورزیوں کا جائزہ لیا، جن میں امتیازی سلوک اور مذہبی عبادات پر پابندیاں شامل ہیں۔ اجلاس میں مختلف گروہوں کے حقوق کے تحفظ کے لیے جاری سفارتی کوششوں پر بھی روشنی ڈالی گئی۔
اجلاس میں اس بات پر زور دیا گیا کہ دنیا بھر میں پرامن بقائے باہمی کے فروغ کے لیے معلومات کا تبادلہ اور آگاہی میں اضافہ ضروری ہے۔
