Purpose of the foundation:
The Be The Light Television Foundation has set itself the goal of reaching the Urdu-speaking population worldwide with the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowering them.
to have a positive influence in their society.

How the Be The Light Television Foundation wants to achieve its goal:
The Be The Light Television Foundation tries to achieve this goal by producing and broadcasting television programs in the form of talk shows, presentations and dramatized programs, including via the internet, social media and (satellite) television.

BTL-tv must provide a platform for Christian artists and thus give them the opportunity to use their unique gifts and talents for the kingdom of God.

To make this programming possible, the Be The Light Television Foundation generates income from collections in church services, speaking engagements and presentations about the work of BTL-tv. The foundation receives (structural) donations from sympathetic companies and private individuals. BTL-tv tries to recruit new donors through flyer campaigns. Donations can also be made via the donate button on the website.

All income from the Be The Light Television Foundation is used to make the work of BTL-tv possible. For example, investments are being made in new cameras, image and sound technology. Contributions are also paid to some volunteers to reimburse expenses incurred while working for BTL-tv. In addition, the costs for online streaming and broadcasting via satellite television can be paid.

Composition of the board of the Be The Light Television Foundation

Board members are elected for at least 2 years. They are then free to be re-elected. The board meets at least 6 times a year and its task includes five aspects:

1. Supervise manager of BTL-tv

2. Determining the policy, the budget, the annual report and the annual accounts.
3. Advising BTL-tv management in certain areas
4. Represent BTL-tv to donors, institutions with similar goals
5. Encourage and support permanent employees and volunteers. Remuneration policy
None of the board members receive financial compensation for their work on the Be The Light Television Foundation.

BTL-tv employees and volunteers also do not receive a salary for their work. BTL-tv uses the services of various volunteers from the Christian Pakistani community in the Netherlands, none of these employees and volunteers receive a salary. Income from the Be The Light Television Foundation is at most used for expense reimbursements such as travel expenses and volunteer contributions.
